Errika Zacharopoulou — Production Coordinator

Errika studied Film and Television Production (BSc Honours) at the University of York (UK) while continuing her education with an MSc in Film Curation at the University of Glasgow (UK). During her academic years, she enrolled in Fashion Photography courses at Central Saint Martins and produced two short documentaries.

In 2016, she started out as an Assistant Director and Camera for Sugar High Films and Sundance Channel in London.

Since then, Errika has worked as part of the programming team of numerous film festivals such as the Glasgow Short Film Festival, the Aegean Film Festival and Africa in Motion while also curating independent film screenings in cultural spaces around Glasgow, Scotland. In 2019 she was part of the Jury of the Athens Fashion Film Festival and following that, a few years later, the Santorini Film Festival, powered by HF Productions.

In 2020, she was assigned the Production Coordination and Press Promotion of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports "All of Greece one Culture" programme and was selected to take part in the Stavros Niarchos Foundation's Recharge Youth Programme as the photographer and videographer of the Greek National Opera.

In 2021, she was invited to take part in the Casa Lu Artistic Residency in Mexico City, producing her first experimental film, and commenced her collaboration with Thessaloniki International Film Festival as part of the Agora Team.

Errika seeks to promote inspired visual storytelling, following a production's journey from its conception to its completion and final distribution. She believes in the power of collaborative work and positive thinking while striving towards impeccable results in a respectful working environment.
